Work in progress

This is the latest mosaic on the bench. It's a template copy which means I just put down the outline and fill in the rest by eye.
As you can see I do tend to jump around a bit but if I get stuck on a piece and am not sure about how to continue then I go straight to an area that I can do to keep the work going.
I'm using cement mixed with a latex additive instead of water which gives in a little 'flex'. It's made for where you have to tile onto a wooden floor where there may be some movement but I use it because the mix is quite sticky which makes it a lot easier to use with the direct method as it holds the tesserae in more.
