The best place for mosaic books, about 90% of the books I use have come from Chris Blanchett. He has many foreign titles that even with the internet you'd have trouble getting. Very knowledgable, if you need a book on  certain mosaics then just give him a call and he'll do his best to help you.
 
Living History reenacment groups/demonstrators
Here I'll be listing historical demonsrators who are skilled at various crafts.
 
The Roman reenactment group 2nd Augusta. representing military life in Roman Britain they also have a very large civilian contingent and a mock up of a Roman villa. David Richardson who runs the group has extensive experience supplying props and extras for films and TV programmes on Rome.
The Colchester Roman Society, based in Colchester but they attend events around the country. Another group with a good military unit but also showing craftmens and artisans at work.
